Philippe Krümm has been interested in the music of the world’s peoples since the age of 14. Among other things, he was director of one of France’s biggest festivals, the only one to showcase luthiers and makers of traditional musical instruments.
He is also a producer, creator of the magazines Trad’mag and Accordéons et accordéonistes, and has just left the Musée des Confluences (Lyon) as head of scientific and cultural programming to take up the creation of the Cité de la musique bretonne (Begard/Côtes-d’Armor) and to resume his travels for work as an ethno-organologist.
