#1 Music from Britanny from and with Skolvan (Bretagne, France)

Who should attend :  Who should attend: This workshop is aimed at musicians with a good knowledge of their instrument (strings, blowers, accordions…).

Descriptif:  A few traditional tunes or group compositions will be covered, along with a few notions of arrangement, with the aim of getting closer to playing together. Trainees are expected to try out the acquired repertoire in front of an audience in the company of bagpipe trainees (during a short performance on Sunday).

SCHEDULE :

Thursday
12 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Lunch*
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Master class
6 p.m.: Welcome dinner with free singing and music sessions

Friday
9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Breakfast*
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Master class
12 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Lunch*

In addition to the core teaching program, trainees will have the opportunity to take part in optional public activities during the festival.

Camping: Free tent space for trainees (reservation required). Reduced rates for trailers, westfalia and RVs.
