L’Alt est un clin d’œil sacré sur le flanc de la montagne de Knocknarea à Sligo et c’est à l’ombre de ce clin d’œil, dans le petit village de Coolaney, que les musiciens se sont d’abord réunis pour répéter.

The ALT

Irish Power Trio ‘The Alt’ places Irish traditional song firmly at its core. The ‘Alt’ is a sacred glen on the side of Knocknarea mountain in Sligo, and it was in the shadow of this glen in the little village of Coolaney that the three master Irish traditional musicians in The Alt–John Doyle, Nuala Kennedy, and Eamon O’Leary, first gathered to rehearse.
