Lysandre Chartrand

A traditional singer, Lysandre Chartrand has been immersed in the world of folk arts since childhood. Born into a family of traditional and baroque dancers, she soon developed an affinity for the repertoire of Quebecois, then French, Breton, English and Gaelic songs. She has been performing for eight years now, having collaborated with artists such as Danse Cadence, Jacinthe Dubé, Alexis Chartrand and Claire Boucher. An artist at the Centre des musiciens du monde in Montreal, she organizes monthly singing sessions. Since 2024, she has also been performing as a caller at traditional Quebec dance evenings.
