How to get to the festival

We recommend the use of specialized sites such as:

 

Bus

EXO: Take bus 701 or 700 from the Longueuil terminus and get off at Contrecoeur. Then take a cab from Contrecoeur (taxicontrecoeur.ca https://taxicontrecoeur.ca/) to Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu.

NEW - Shuttle

With the aim of giving pedestrians and public transit users an opportunity to come to Chants de Vielles, a shuttle service between Contrecœur and the Festival site is being offered.

Festival-goers taking the EXO bus routes (700 and 701) between Longueuil and Contrecoeur can request transportation from Contrecoeur to the Festival and back, according to the schedule below.

Confirmation will be sent by e-mail with full details.

Festival travelers will be welcomed at the Marie-Victorin/Ducharme stop, at the Contrecoeur church.

For return trips, departure will be from Chants de Vielles, 30 minutes before bus time.

A departure has been scheduled for Monday morning for passengers staying on Sunday evening.

Sorel-Tracy-Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola ferry

IMPORTANT NOTICE – For festival-goers from the North Shore who wish to take the Sorel-Tracy-Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola ferry, please note that a strike will interrupt service on Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30, 2024, according to the following schedule:

Saturday June 29: the last crossing will be at 3 a.m. on Friday night from Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola to Sorel-Tracy. All other scheduled crossings will then be cancelled.

Sunday June 30: Service will resume as per normal schedule from 7:30 p.m. onwards from Sorel-Tracy to Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola.
