PLEASE NOTE _ As of April 17, 2026, Chants de Vielles is registered as a charitable organization with Canada Revenue Agency. You will therefore receive an official receipt for your donation. Such a receipt can be used to reduce the income tax liability of an individual or business that makes a donation.

 

* Additional 25% Tax Credit for a Significant Cultural Donation

Did you know that, in order to increase the amount of donations made to the cultural sector, the Quebec government offers an additional tax credit for significant donations made to an organization in this sector? This credit allows an individual, other than a trust, to benefit, for a tax year, in addition to the donation tax credit, from a non-refundable tax credit equal to 25% of the amount of a major cultural donation made during that year.
