Pur jus! (Which, in the Occitan language, means “I’m happy to be here!”) Ati Me Care is a group based in France’s Puy de Dôme region, featuring Cédric Bachèlerie on the cabrette bagpipe, Guillaume Bouteloup on the hurdy-gurdy, and Thomas Restoin on the accordion. These three instruments are emblematic of the music of Haute Auvergne, but their arrangements aim to respect the stylistic elements intrinsic to this music, while coloring them with a personal touch. The dynamics of the hurdy-gurdy, the ornamentation of the cabrette and the surprising use of the accordion create a broad, original sound. During their performances at Chants de Vielles, you can discover them in concert, but also let yourself be tempted to experience an Auvergne ball. Get ready to enjoy being there and dancing the bourrée!!!!
