Paruline

Paruline is an indie-folk-trad music project led by Charles Labrèche. Drawing from the richness of Québec’s oral traditions, Paruline explores songs, legends, and traditional stories through a contemporary lens. Blending original compositions with bold reinterpretations of the traditional repertoire, the project shapes a sonic world where airy folk, dance-inspired grooves, indie-rock textures, and raw poetry meet. With its debut album À ceux qui veillent, Paruline pays tribute to the living heritage of a people in motion, while inviting listeners to slow down, listen, and rediscover a sense of wonder.
